memory_wiki_generate
Writes a Markdown digest per project (top decisions, active solutions, conventions, recent changes) to the wikis folder without calling an LLM.
local stdio server writes idempotent
When to use
- You want a human-readable overview of what memory holds for a project.
- You want to refresh the digests of all active projects in one call.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
project | string | — | Project to refresh (omit for all) |
Example
Arguments
{
"project": "my-api"
} Result shape
{
"saved": true,
"project": "my-api",
"path": "~/.tam/wikis/my-api.md",
"chars": 5120
} Without project the result is { saved: true, wiki_count, wikis: [{ project, path, chars }] }. A project with no active records returns saved: false with a reason.
Values are illustrative; the keys follow the server's handler. MCP clients receive the result as JSON text content.
Server description
The description the server sends to your agent in tools/list, captured from the v14.7.0 source:
Render the per-project wiki digest (top decisions, active solutions, conventions, recent changes) as Markdown. Pass `project` to refresh one wiki, omit it to refresh all active projects. Files land in <MEMORY_DIR>/wikis/<project>.md and are deterministic (no LLM call).
