Pilot

Local memory for AI coding assistants: a 2-week pilot

Two weeks, remote, fixed fee. We set up total-agent-memory on your machines, teach your assistants what to remember, and report what changed.

What it solves

AI coding assistants forget. Every new session starts without the decisions, fixes and conventions your team already explained. Hosted memory services help, but many teams cannot send source code or client data to a third party.

total-agent-memory is an open-source memory server that runs entirely on your own machines and works with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor and other MCP clients.

What you get

  • Installation on up to 5 developer machines or one shared internal host, with no data leaving your infrastructure.
  • Project rules that tell your assistants what to store and when to recall it: decisions, bug fixes, conventions, known pitfalls.
  • Separation by project and by team, so memories do not leak between clients.
  • A short written report at the end: what was set up, what the team used, what changed, and recommendations.

How it runs

  1. 0

    Week 0

    Kickoff

1-hour call. We agree on 1 or 2 projects, success criteria and a baseline (for example, how often people re-explain context).

  2. 1

    Week 1

    Setup

Setup and rules, remote pairing sessions with your developers.

  3. 2

    Week 2

    Use and report

Daily use, tuning, a mid-point check-in, final report and call.

What we need from you

  • 1 or 2 developers who use an AI coding assistant daily.
  • Permission to install a local service on their machines.
  • 30 minutes for the kickoff and 30 minutes for the wrap-up.

Terms

  • Fixed fee: $3,500. 50% after the kickoff call, 50% on acceptance. If the pilot does not meet the success criteria we agree at kickoff, you do not pay the second half.
  • Remote only. Your code and data stay on your infrastructure.
  • The software is open source; you keep using it after the pilot at no cost.
  • Optional follow-up: integration and support on a monthly basis.
